Step 1

Draw 4 lines on each paper edge 1 centimeter apart.

Step 2

Cut out 4 centimeter squares from each corner of your magazine paper.

Step 3

On the second rectangular section of each side create a 1 cm square along both of its edges. Then make 1 by 1 centimeter triangle connecting the square to neighboring rectangular sections to create trapezoidal shape as shown.

Step 4

Cut out the outline you made.

Step 5

Fold along the penciled lines. You can make an indent and fold the magazine paper by running a bone folder over the paper with a ruler along the lines created.

Step 6(Flat Shape)

Glue the top rectangular section you created flat onto the middle rectangular section of the magazine paper. Repeat for the bottom rectangular section.
